Megan Walsh

Megan Walsh received her early dance education at the Dance Center Evanston, under the directorship of Bea Rashid. As a teenager, she was a member of its youth company, the Evanston Dance Ensemble, and performed with them for six seasons. She also began studying the Cecchetti Method at DCE and progressed through level seven. Megan began training under the guidance of Artistic Director Mike Gosney when she was 13 and has had the privilege of working with Elements Ballet since that young age. In 2009, after graduating high school, Megan was promoted from apprentice to a full company member. She has performed in some of Elements' premier works including Grey and Curiosity. Megan performed Joseph Caruana’s Angel, one of twelve finalists selected to dance at the McCallum Theater’s Dance Under the Stars Festival in November 2011. She has also been a guest artist with Ballet Legere's production of The Nutcracker. Megan is thrilled to be a part of Elements’ 10th Anniversary Concert, since she has been working with Mike and the company since its beginnings.
